About the Role
C.R. England is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Instructor to join our training facility in Valparaiso, IN. This position is ideal for experienced truck drivers with a passion for mentoring and teaching who want to transition into a stable leadership role with consistent daytime hours.
In this role, you will be responsible for classroom and range instruction, conducting backing drills, and assessing road tests, training the next generation of professional drivers the C.R. England Way.

- Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No weekends)

- Driver Training: Teach essential backing skills, safety protocols, and driving maneuvers on the range and in the classroom.
- Evaluations: Conduct driving evaluations and prepare students for CDL Third-Party Exams.
- Mentorship: Coach trainees on lifestyle adjustments, professional communication, and industry standards.
- Safety and Standards: Maintain school and company safety compliance at all times.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- License: Valid Class A CDL required.
- Qualifications: Ability to meet the criteria of a CDL Third-Party Examiner.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a safety-first mindset.
