CDL A Regional Flatbed Driver

A regional Class A CDL opportunity is hiring experienced flatbed drivers for consistent freight across the Eastern half of the United States. Drivers can expect strong weekly earnings, modern automatic equipment, and a minimum 34-hour weekend reset.

Pay & Home Time

• $1,725.00–$1,825.00 average weekly pay

• $78,000.00–$95,000.00 annual earning potential

• $0.75 per mile

• $18.00 hourly pay

• Approximately 2,175 miles per week

• Home weekly

• Minimum 34-hour weekend restart

• Weekend home time typically Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday

• $500.00 sign-on bonus

• $3,000.00 driver referral bonus

Job Details

• Regional routes throughout the Eastern half of the United States

• No NYC

• 5–6 day workweek

• 1–4 routes per week

• 1–4 overnight layovers per week may be required

• New propane tank freight

• Step-deck flatbed trailers

• 2020–2023 Freightliner or Kenworth tractors

• Automatic transmissions

• Trucks governed at 65 MPH

• Driver-assist unloading

• Drivers are responsible for verifying cargo securement

Additional Pay

• $50.00 per stop

• $25.00 per hour for delay

• $100.00 Hazmat pay when pulling a Hazmat load

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience

• At least 6 months of verified flatbed experience within the last 3 years

• Hazmat endorsement required

• Winter driving experience required

• Must be comfortable operating a step-deck flatbed

• Must be able to properly secure and verify cargo

• Must be willing to assist with unloading

Equipment & Parking

• Automatic Freightliner and Kenworth tractors

• Step-deck flatbed trailers

• Secure truck and trailer parking required for drivers who do not live near the terminal

• On-site parking available in Fremont, OH

Orientation

• Paid orientation
