Full Job Description: Are you an experienced class A professional looking to lock in elite weekly revenue with a highly predictable regional schedule? We are immediately adding solo operators to a premium retail logistics network. This division utilizes a strategic multi-point shuttle configuration across the region, ensuring consistent miles and robust weekly checks.
Earnings & Financial Structure:
Weekly Revenue: $1,839.00 - $2,482.00 gross (Based on mileage, stop pay, and unloading productivity).
Comprehensive Pay: Competitive mileage scale supplemented with scheduled stop pay and full detention protection.
Stability: Year-round freight stability through a primary retail supply contract.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance:
Home Time: 2 to 3 days home weekly, allowing for a complete 34-hour restart.
Operational Cycle: This is a continuous 24/7 high-priority logistics supply chain. Shifts predominantly operate overnight (typically dispatching between 21:00 and noon), requiring operational flexibility with no fixed days off.
Route Operations & Equipment:
Regional Logistics: Freight distribution utilizing dedicated regional transport links, handling standard runs and line-haul operations from secure freight hubs. Shuttles and dedicated loads operate actively out of key drop yards located in Central Indiana and Northwest Indiana.
Cargo Specification: All freight originates and finals at our primary distribution hub in Central Ohio, with regional deliveries extending into the greater downtown Chicago metro area and surrounding regional store locations.
Freight Handling: Pre-loaded multi-temperature and dual-temp refrigerated equipment hauling 28-foot and 53-foot trailers. 100% No-Touch at the vast majority of stops (driver simply provides visual observation during store receiving). Specific inner-city deliveries require the use of automated liftgates and powered pallet jacks.
Equipment: Premium, late-model tractors with fluid automatic transmissions. Authorized secure take-home truck parking options are available based on location.
Minimum Specifications:
Valid Class A CDL.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 months (90 days) of recent, verifiable solo tractor-trailer operating history.
Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and complete FMCSA drug/alcohol clearinghouse compliance.
